What if I lose my Master Key?

If the Master Key is lost, there is nothing StartMail support can do to recover it. Without the Master Key, it is no longer possible to reset the passwords or recover the PGP keys of accounts within your Business Account.  

If the Master Key is permanently lost, the only solution is to start over and create a new Business Account.  If there are still active accounts in the Business Account that needs to be replaced, it will not be possible to validate the domain again. It is therefore required to first delete all accounts within your previous Business Account, before registering a new Business Account.
