PGP encryption and attachments
Last modified on 15 June 2017 02:30 PM

When sending encrypted email, it is important to also encrypt any attachments. StartMail has adopted the PGP/MIME message structure for outgoing messages because it encrypts all attachments without exposing metadata about them. This is done completely automatically when you encrypt an email, so no additional actions are required.
