One-time Recovery Code

Your one-time recovery code is used to recover your StartMail account in case you lose your password.

How to add a one-time recovery code to your StartMail account

  1. Click on Settings.

  2. Click the toggle button next to Recovery code.

  3. Enter your account password and click on Generate recovery code.

  4. Your new one-time recovery code will be displayed. Make sure you securely store this code, and do not share it with anyone.

  5. Account recovery through a one-time recovery code is now enabled for your StartMail account.

  6. Please note that when you use your one-time recovery code, another one will be generated for you.
