Group subscriptions are available for Personal accounts and Custom Domain accounts. In any of these accounts, group subscriptions can be created for family or team members.
The account from which a group subscription is created is known as the “subscription-manager” account.
Although the "subscription-manager" creates the group subscriptions and pays for them, he isn't able to access the emails in the group subscription accounts, as soon as the login password is changed.
The billing cycle will be according to the “subscription-manager” account subscription, and additional group subscriptions will be charged prorated to the subscription-manager's subscription.
Therefore, if a subscription-manager account has been active for say 6 months, then decides to buy an additional account, the additional account will only be charged for the remaining 6 months of the subscription-manager's account subscription.
