First, make sure you have IMAP enabled in your StartMail account.
To add StartMail to Windows Mail, please perform the following steps:
- Open Windows Mail in Windows 10 and select to add "Other Account".
(If you already have another account configured, click the Settings wheel at the bottom first, select Manage Accounts and then Add Account to get to this screen.)
- In the next screen, enter your full StartMail email address and the display name you want to use for sending messages. The password you enter should not be your account password, but one you generate specifically on our Settings page. See this article for instructions: Configure a trusted device / IMAP password. After you've entered this, click on Sign in.
- You should end on a success screen and are finished with the configuration. Click on Done.
